نظمت جامعة صحار فعاليات البرنامج التعريفي للطلبة للعام الأكاديمي الجديد، ٢٠٢٥/ ٢٠٢٦ وسط أجواء مفعمة بالحماس والتفاؤل، حيث يهدف البرنامج إلى تعريف الطلبة ببيئتهم الجامعية الجديدة وتمكينهم من الاستفادة من مختلف الخدمات والفرص الأكاديمية والأنشطة التي توفرها الجامعة. وتستمر فعاليات البرنامج على مدار يومي الأربعاء والخميس 10-11 سبتمبر 2025م.
استُهل البرنامج بعرض فيلم تعريفي استعرض رسالة الجامعة وإنجازاتها ومرافقها الأكاديمية والخدمية، أعقبه كلمة للدكتور حمدان بن سليمان الفزاري، رئيس الجامعة، رحّب خلالها بالطلبة الجدد، مؤكداً على أهمية استثمار سنوات الدراسة في اكتساب المعرفة وتنمية المهارات بما يعزز فرصهم المستقبلية في سوق العمل.
وتنوعت فقرات البرنامج لتشمل عرض تجربة أكاديمية لطالب متميز من الجامعة، إضافة إلى كلمة ألقتها الطالبة وئام الخاطري، ممثلة المجلس الاستشاري الطلابي، التي أبرزت دور المجلس في تمثيل الطلبة وتقديم الدعم لهم.
كما تعرّف الطلبة على خدمات الإرشاد الأكاديمي والقبول والتسجيل ومصادر التعلم والخدمات التقنية والسياسات الطلابية، فيما تضمن المعرض المصاحب أركاناً للخدمات غير الأكاديمية شملت: الخدمات الطلابية والأنشطة الطلابية ، التواصل والتسويق ، الصحة والسلامة والبيئة، والخدمات المالية.التوجيه المهني ومتابعة الخريجين
ويأتي تنظيم هذا البرنامج في إطار حرص جامعة صحار على تهيئة بيئة تعليمية متكاملة تعزز من انخراط الطلبة في الحياة الجامعية، وتدعم مسيرتهم الأكاديمية والشخصية منذ اليوم الأول لانضمامهم إلى أسرة الجامعة.
Sohar University Launches the Induction Program for New Students of Academic Year 2025/2026
Sohar, Oman – On Wednesday, Sohar University inaugurated its Orientation Program for new students for the academic year 2025/2026, in an atmosphere filled with excitement and optimism. The two-day program is designed to familiarize students with their new university environment and enable them to make the most of the academic services, resources, and extracurricular opportunities provided by the university.
The program commenced with a documentary film highlighting the university’s mission, achievements, and key academic and support facilities. This was followed by a welcoming address delivered by Dr. Hamdan bin Suleiman Al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of Sohar University, who urged students to make the best use of their university years to acquire knowledge, refine their skills, and enhance their career prospects.
The sessions featured a presentation by a distinguished student who shared his academic journey, alongside a speech by Ms. Wi’am Al-Khatri, representative of the Student Advisory Council, who highlighted the council’s role in supporting and representing students.
In addition, students were introduced to a range of essential services, including academic advising, admissions and registration, learning resources, IT support, and student policies. The accompanying exhibition showcased non-academic services such as student support and extracurricular activities, communication and marketing, health, safety and environment, financial services, as well as career guidance and alumni engagement.
This initiative reflects Sohar University’s commitment to creating a comprehensive learning environment that fosters student integration into university life, supporting their academic and personal growth from the very first day of their journey at the university.
